Animal Exposures
Animal exposures include
- bites
- scratches
- allergies
You should notify a health-care provider immediately if you develop any symptoms associated with contact with animals. Student Health is available to evaluate any acute problems during our normal business hours. After hours care may be sought at a hospital emergency department or at an urgent care center. Please be sure to share with your caregiver as much information as possible about the source of your injury or exposure, and the species of animal/any known pathogens involved.
