My BuckMD Connection
My BuckMD Connection is a secure health portal that allows you to:
- Cancel future appointments (must be at least 2 hours in advance of appointment time)
- Complete our Medical History Form
- Receive secure messages from Ohio State's Student Health Services. These messages may include:
- Laboratory results
- Reminders to schedule an appointment
- Reminders of Referrals
- Information on billing
Future enhancements to My BuckMD Connection will include:
- Scheduling of appointments
- Completion of appointment forms
- Printing current immunization histories
- Initiating secure conversations with your provider
Prior to using My BuckMD Connection you must:
- Complete a My BuckMD Connection Informed Consent Form.
- Present the completed form and a photo ID to the Health Information Services department on the ground floor of the Wilce Student Health Center.
To use My BuckMD Connection:
- Click on this link: My BuckMD Connection.
- Enter your Ohio State userid (name.#) and password.
- Allow 15-60 seconds for authentication.
- If you encounter any problems using My BuckMD Connection, contact Health Information Services at (614) 292-0118.
Protecting your private health information:
- My BuckMD Connection encrypts and secures your information to prevent unauthorized parties from being able to access or read messages while they are in transmission.
- Your responsibility is:
- Make sure Student Health Services has your correct email address and inform us if it ever changes.
- Keep track of who has access to your email account so that only you, or someone you authorize, can see the messages you receive from us.
- DO NOT SHARE YOUR PASSWORD WITH ANYONE.
- If you think someone has learned your password, contact Ohio State immediately and change it.
Maintenance Window:
- My BuckMD Connection is taken down each night 1am - 3am for regular maintainance and backups. The system is not available at this time.
