The Student Wellness Center is offering self-defense courses for women and members of the LBGT community.  The courses will meet for 2 hours, once a week for five consecutive weeks and are open to all students and non-student community members.  Participants will learn mental, verbal and physical self-defense skills.

All classes will be held from 6:00-8:00pm in Room 213 of Pomerene Hall (1760 Neil Ave.)

The WOMEN'S COURSE will be held on Thursdays - April 8, 15, 22, 29 and May 6.

The LBGT COURSE will be held on Tuesdays - April 5, 12, 19, 26 and May 3.

Please bring a friend and learn how to protect yourself.  Resistance to a physical attack provides a significantly greater chance of surviving without being raped!

To register or for more information, contact the Student Wellness Center at 614-292-4527 or sves@osu.edu
