Q: Does the Student Health Center offer the Gardasil shot (HPV vaccine) for a discounted price to students?

A: We try to limit the cost of all our services as much as we can, but the purchase cost for the HPV vaccine is quite high.  You can see our current price list here

We may also be able to assist you with a rebate being offered from the manufacturer, depending on your eligibility.  The rebate offer deadline was just extended to December 30, 2011 when the vaccine was approved for use in men.  It can help you save a lot of money on each of the 3 required shots.  You can obtain the rebate from the injection nurse or in the area where you receive the vaccine.  You can also contact our Preventive Medicine Department for more information about the HPV vaccine itself.
